Ukraina ja Eesti kutsuvad partnereid osalema 2027. aasta Ukraina taastamise konverentsil
Ukraina ja Eesti valitsused kutsuvad rahvusvahelisi partnereid osalema 28.–29. jaanuaril Tallinnas toimuval Ukraina taastamise konverentsil URC-2027. Конференentsi eesmärk on mobiliseerida kiiret ja praktilist toetust Ukriina energiamajandusele, majandusele, ühendustele ning transpordi- ja kriitilisele infrastruktuurile.

Miks see on oluline
Konverents could produce concrete decisions, clear financial commitments and assistance mechanisms usable as early as this winter. Such support is particularly important because daily attacks have caused almost $8 billion in damage to Ukraine's energy sector, economy, communications and critical infrastructure, while reducing tax revenues.
Mis juhtus
The governments of Ukraine and Estonia called on international partners to join the 2027 Ukraine Recovery Conference in Tallinn on 28–29 January. They intend to use the event to mobilise international support and ensure practical assistance for Ukraine's energy sector, economy, communications, transport and critical infrastructure. The countries also want the conference to focus on Ukraine's long-term stability and the challenges of the current winter, rather than recovery alone. Ministries of economy and foreign affairs in both countries have been tasked with accelerating preparations.

Taust
The conference is intended to address both Ukraine's long-term stability and its recovery. Estonia assumed responsibility for organising it following this year's conference in Gdańsk. Ukraine and Estonia have instructed their ministries of economy and foreign affairs to accelerate preparations so that the 2027 event produces tangible results.
